Mike joined the Premier team in 2011. He provides controller level services to some of our larger clients, including working with and overseeing their internal accounting staff.
In addition to being our in-house Excel expert, Mike is also proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting packages.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University and has over 20 years of professional experience.

Jackie Bartiss

Jackie joined the Premier team in 2011. Jackie’s client responsibilities include managing accounting staff, preparing financial statements, and communicating with clients and their CPAs.
In addition to her ongoing client work, Jackie also assists with new client engagements, including designing and implementing QuickBooks, overseeing clean-up and catch-up projects, and training new staff.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Florida State University and has over 20 years of professional experience.

Anne Dente

Anne joined Premier’s non-profit team in 2011. Her client responsibilities include managing accounting staff, preparing financial statements, and grant reporting.
One of Anne’s strengths is her ability to get new clients up and running in a smooth and efficient manner.
Anne holds a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from the University of New Haven and has over 25 years of professional experience.

Sue Orenstein

Sue joined the Premier team in 2013. Her client responsibilities include cash management, sales tax returns and financial statement preparation.
Having previously worked for two small CPA firms, Sue brings some excellent experience to Premier and our clients.
Sue holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Cornell University and is a CPA in New York.

Ernie Vigue

Ernie joined Premier’s non-profit team in 2014. Ernie’s client responsibilities include reviewing and preparing financial statements, preparing budgets and forecasts, grant reporting, and developing financial policies and procedures.
Having assisted with the implementation of QuickBooks for many new clients, Ernie also provides QuickBooks training in both one-on-one and group settings.
Ernie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and has over 20 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector.

Joanne Smart

Joanne joined Premier in 2015. Her responsibilities include managing staff and client engagements.

Having spent 14 years at a rapidly expanding and evolving, $25 million non-profit organization, Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge to Premier’s non-profit team.

Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Elon College and has 17 years of professional experience.
